What is a Finish Carpenter job description?
Facilitates implementation and completion of various work duties within all divisions and sections of construction. Self performs and completes construction related tasks such as framing, drywall, finishing, painting, doors, frames, hardware etc. Interacts with construction director, construction superintendent, architectural staff, construction assistant, and secretary to facilitate completion of various tasks assigned by construction director and project superintendent(s). Provides material takeoffs as required for completion of each task assigned. Implementation and enforcement of Interim Life Safety and Infection Control Measures. Execution and completion of required paperwork.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Required
Experience: More than 2 years up to 3 years
Training: Formal training not required however a plus
License: None required
Other: Moderate skills and knowledge of all divisions and sections of construction. Excellent communication and costumer service skills. Extensive hands on abilities such as framing, drywall, finishing, paint, doors, frames, hardware etc. Self starter with ability to manage and complete multiple tasks daily.
