What is a Vice President Risk Management Job Description?

The Vice President, Risk Management will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing overall insurance portfolio.
• Overseeing and developing broker and carrier relationships.
• Collaborating, designing, developing, evaluating and recommending various risk management strategies, guidelines, and programs, suggesting changes as needed, and coordinating implementation.
• Leading integration of risk management policies, procedures and processes, and advocating organization-wide efforts to protect key assets and engaging stakeholders in risk management activities.


We are seeking those who possess the following career experience/skills:
• BA/BS required
• The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years brokerage or in-house experience in similar position, with more than 5 years at the management level.
• Knowledge of real estate/construction preferred, along with a proven track record of success.

This person should also possess the following qualities:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Hands-on, independent and accountable management style.
