What is Construction VP Operations Job Description ?
Has overall responsibility for all of Suffolks construction field operations nationwide including developing and implementing standards, overseeing the General Superintendent, assigning field personnel and managing the Scheduling and Safety departments.
Experience
1.20 Years in construction industry with emphasis on field operations.
2.Portfolio of completed projects consistent with current and future Suffolk construction programs.
3.Proven track record as construction expert including systems, logistics, scheduling, safety and personnel management.
Knowledge
1.Versed in all aspects of the construction management process. Pre-construction, construction and project closeout.
2.Thorough understanding of technical aspects of Field Operations.
3.Knowledge to conduct on-going audits of all aspects of Field Operations. Demonstrate tenacity and sense of urgency to ensure realistic and consistent outcomes and delivery of services.
Skills
1.Capacity and ability to function as the leader and standard bearer for Best in Class Field Operations. Using Field Operations as a distinguishing factor to help establish Suffolk as a premiere provider of construction management services.
2.Provide strong leadership and support and continue to develop Field Operations. Ability to influence senior management consistent with responsibility of Director of Field Operations. Influence clients, peers and consistuency to meet company objectives.
3.Attract, retain and develop the best talent. Demonstrate talent for evaluating staff and deployment of field resources on projects of various size and complexity as projects demand.
