Assisted with development of enabling legislation for alternative project delivery (P3) for multiple states (VA, NV, OR, WA, TX, NC, FL, and more). As a result of this and the development of DB and P3 projects in those and other states, have a good working relationship with a broad range of state and county DOTs

Ascending responsibilities include pursuit identification, teaming identification/agreement development, joint venture and prime contract negotiation. During this time, established our long range strategic vision, integrated marketing and sales plans within corporate business plans and managed individual pursuit budgets within that context. Exceeded our new business goals in each of the five years to our current level of managing over $1.3 Billion of transportation projects yielding annual revenues of over $250 million
1989 1999 Kiewit Construction Group, Inc., Omaha and Atlanta Director of Business Development. Responsibilities grew from developing traditional heavy/civil construction contracts in four states to 34 states in the lower 48. Focus included DB and traditional contracting in public and private sectors
1973 1987 Green Construction Company, Boston, DC, Des Moines and Denver Intern to Vice President (Statutory). Started in college as off-campus work study and grew to be youngest non-family member Vice President. Initial responsibilities included designing and evolved to establishing and managing a branch office in Denver generating nearly two thirds of corporate revenues (about $300M/year). Focus was on negotiated and public sector work in the western states including DB and P3.
