In short, I have a thorough understanding of project management principles, processes, and exposure to management methodology.
I have been directly responsible for the financial health of each project. This is performed by managing project budget spending, and by tracking capital and P&L statements, which are discussed with owners, shareholders, and corporate accounting on a monthly basis with periodic meetings for full review.
Having worked on both the Owner and General Contractors side in the Construction industry, there are considerable differences as to how to approach each and every project. The owners side requires a full understanding of not only the corporate structures responsibilities, but also the many different departmental approval processes required. Whereas, having the experience of working on the General Contractors/Construction Management side, this has enabled me to cost effectively produce a High Quality product within very tight time constraints. Time is money in this industry, and in order to meet critical schedules, communication is the most important tool to be utilized. I am very familiar with establishing the process, schedule, and team of individuals necessary to accommodate cooperate requirements, with the result meeting clients/owners expectations.
I have excellent experience in building from the ground up, as well as million dollar renovations throughout the East, Desert Southwest and overseas. I have experienced and understand the required approval and permitting processes for Architectural/Engineering Documents in many local, city and state municipalities throughout the country. Each municipality is different, which requires careful understanding and communication from state to state and in turn requires different means and methods to insure on time completion.
