Objective : |
I have over 20 years experience in project management and construction. I am a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and self discipline that I learned as a member of USAF.
I have honed his skills in project management and construction over the years both as a self-employed commercial/retail contractor and project manager for various contractors. While self-employed, my partner and I ran Falcone Contracting and later, Smithaven Contracting completing mostly Commercial and Retail Tenant Improvement Projects in the New England states. After over 15 years of being self-employed, I was recruited to work on a specialized $97M project for the Manorville, NY School District. During his tenure with the School District, I oversaw the entire project, contractors and vendors, supervised the distribution of all work details, assisted the Facilities Administrator in daily operations and implemented all Standard Operating Procedures for the new high school, the maintenance system and their employees.
After spending 2 years on a specialized NY High School Project, I left the New England states and moved to Florida. In Florida, I quickly picked up new projects in the retail/commercial and residential home building sectors working for Lennar Homes. While at Lennar, I learned to deal with Land Development issues, work with Landlord issues and resolved all Certificate of Occupancy issues. During this time, I worked closely with Architects and Engineers to better understand the intricacies of all projects.
I specialized in retail roll-outs and remodels throughout the Southeast/Southwest and Midwest regions often times handling over 30 projects at a time and coordinating vendors and communications with corporate teams. I have a unique ability to understand the contractor side as well as the owners side makes him a star player with our clients.
I have managed projects for both retail and restaurant rollout for multi-unit chains and that specialize in fast-paced multi-unit roll-out programs. I have the ability to absorb information and never-ending enthusiasm makes me a top performer among my colleagues.
It is this diversity in Construction, Project Management, Corporate Relations, Financial Understanding, Systems Implementation and Employee Training that makes me a true asset to clients.
