Performed the duties of site safety coordinator during the renovation of two biomass plants in the California Central Valley. These plants had been out of operation since 1996. Trained the employees in fall protection, confined space entry, and other relevant programs. Ran the lockout/tag out, confined space entry and hot work permit programs. Conducted new employee orientation. Audited the work performance and corrected anomalies when found. Held daily safety meetings. Interpretation of Cal/OSHA regulations and development of site specific safety plan. Interface between medical community and injured employees.
