Senior Vice President, Human Resources (2005 - 2006) Responsible for all human resource activities including organizational development, compensation, benefits, safety, recruitment, labor relations and professional development for the corporate office. Hold budget and operational responsibility for over $44 million in payroll, benefits and departmental expenses. Partial owner of an S Corporation (The Austin Company) and actively involved in the financial review of the organization. The defined benefit plan remained fully funded during that period without employer contributions, while paying out $98 million in benefits and expenses. Successfully placed expatriates in European and Asian settings to penetrate markets and that led to Austin becoming the first US company awarded a construction contractors license in Japan. NATIONAL GYPSUM COMPANY 1975 - 1985 The Austin Company was a wholly owned subsidiary of National Gypsum Company between 1984 and 1997. In 1997 Austin management purchased the company.
