The Operations Audit was commissioned by the Private Equity firm and resulted in a comprehensive whitepaper outlining 28 significant improvement needs for the wireless company and providing recommended corrections and payback objectives. The engagement was completed on a rush timeframe of only 6 weeks to satisfy fiscal 2008 planning needs.
Successfully concluded a 7-month WAN Vendor evaluation project for a $6B convenience store operator that involved technical, financial and legal evaluations including extensive fine-tuning of contract requirements and inclusions, issuance of a Best and Final solicitation, and creation of Vendor evaluation scorecards and cost models. Client considered the work outstanding and retained my services to develop cost, vendor management and vendor billing models
Delivered a multi-month project for a satellite and wireless telecommunications company focused on contractual and operational strategies for wireless systems implementation. Recruited from Communications Contractor, Ltd., to join SpectraSite in July 2000 by the President of SpectraSites Tower Division. Relocated to Cary, NC, to assume responsibilities as the VP of Asset Management and Operations, a newly created position within the Tower Division reporting to the President. Was severanced from SpectraSite in August 2001 as part of a significant downsizing and reorganization brought about by a failing overall corporate business plan
