To whom it may concern,
I will be graduating UNC Charlotte in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. I would like to apply for an internship or entry level position in the construction field.
I understand the means and methods of various construction projects as well as detailing direct & indirect cost estimates. I used many programs and computer aids in evaluating different construction project needs, which include design, scheduling and quantity takeoffs. While attending University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I had the opportunity to bid on several projects and the process of administrating several construction projects from the ground up.
I am a highly motivated individual that strives to surpass all expectations. I have an educational background in designing different construction components, construction mean and methods, testing procedures, ASTM standards, mobilization and demobilization of projects. I have experience in creating and reviewing drawings as well as translating the data to a work breakdown structure. I have studied various construction specifications and codes to learn how they are applied to the construction industry. My well rounded educational background in construction will help me complete all the required tasks necessary as an entry level project/construction manager/scheduler/cost estimator/field or office engineer.
Sincerely, Adam Windemuth UNC Charlotte Construction Management
