Extensive fragnet creation for owner changes. Athens Regional Medical Center Hospital Expansion - $85M, 167,000 SF new and 48,000 SF renovation of patient rooms, operating rooms and offices. New construction connected to existing hospital. Multiple phasing operations in schedule for phased owner turnovers Fort Belvoir Community Hospital - $650M, 935,000 SF hospital campus. Project includes main hospital building, 2 outpatient clinics, 2 clinical buildings, 2 parking garages and a central utility plant. University of Chicago Duchossios Center for Advanced Medicine - Project included construction management services for a $98M, 500,000 SF, steel frame, 8-story, state of the art hospital facility. Project required seismic and decibel recordings for an extensive preconstruction survey for nearby residents. Project also included 2 bridges and 2 tunnels from the new building to an existing hospital and parking garage. Upper Chesapeake Health System New Hospital & Ambulatory Care Center - Project Included construction management services for a steel frame, 4-story hospital and adjacent, 5-story ambulatory care center/office building. The facility features labor & delivery services, plus state-of-the-art cardiology, imaging, and O.R. services. This facility was designed and constructed with a focus and sensitivity toward both patient focused areas and the new direction of healthcare reform. University of Maryland Medical Systems: Phase III Demolition - Demolition of 5 multi-level buildings, 3 stand-alone and 2 connected to an existing hospital that was to remain operational. Project included complex outage coordination with the existing hospital for disconnects and new connections as to not disrupt normal hospital. Temporary caps and enclosures were required for future construction connections.
Government Projects National Defense University Lincoln Hall Project $113M, 240,000 SF, 3-story, design-build with cost-loaded schedule for the USACE. Pentagon Athletic Center - $49M, 120,000 SF underground indoor fitness facility includes swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, squash and badminton courts; aerobics/fitness equipment rooms; elevated indoor running track; locker rooms; administrative offices; and juice bar. The project also included demolition and abatement of hazardous material as well as installation of security systems and equipment. District of Columbia Youth Center $42M multi-structure campus for young male detention center with cost loaded and manpower loaded schedule. Walter Reed Military Advanced Training Center - $9.5M, 31,000 SF, 2-story building with cost-loaded schedule for the United States of America Corp of Engineers (USACE).
Other Construction Projects Silver Spring Gateway Project $78M 15 story residential/retail building with a manpower loaded schedule. Florida A&M University School of Business & Industry West Wing - $10M GMP for 2, 4-story concrete and masonry structures ( West and North Wings), with connecting bridges at each floor to existing operating East and South Wings. Project included a small auditorium, administrative space and classrooms. Project also included a courtyard in the center of the buildings. Northwestern University Ryan Field Restoration Project - Project included the renovation of 2 ramp towers, a media suite, an alumni suite and a new field house. New stairwell and elevators were installed. Project also included the installation of new stadium seating and handrails.
