Originally based in Wiesbaden, Germany and relocated to Seoul, South Korea in July 2007. As Director of Global Project Development I am responsible for providing successful planning, design and construction oversight and coordination of General Motors interest in the development of international capital projects throughout Asia Pacific and Europe. In this position I am the liaison between the project team and General Motors business group managers and senior leadership.

I have led teams in all aspects of project development including: feasibility studies, site selection, architectural / engineering services, contract negotiations, construction, FF&E, budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing all aspects of complex multi-use real estate projects; concept through design, construction and operational start-up.

My general responsibilities include providing a key role in coordinating with in country global development partners and entities on project execution. In doing so I have core responsibilities centered on the design and construction requirements of each project that include:

Implement and direct General Motors design and construction oversight of multiple development projects by supporting the preparation of development proposals, preparing program and scope documents, and providing financial feasibility analysis. Provide project market analysis, site assessment reviews and master planning coordination. Source, scope, negotiate and administer contracts with AEC consultants in order to support detailed design and construction oversight of the projects. Coordinate with all development partners to ensure compliance with General Motors global standards, technical requirements, budgets and goals. Prepare and present internal project reporting including project site analysis / recommendations, design and construction status, scheduling and budget information. Direct the creation, implementation and coordination of design and development standards / procedures necessary to support General Motors leadership directive for global facility standards. Participate and coordinate the hiring and direction of in-market project management resources in order to provide sufficient in-market project oversight. Interact and coordinate with various domestic and international partners, developers and government entities in order to foster existing and new relationships and establish new opportunities for venue and development projects.
