Came aboard with primary responsibility of material take-off, submittals, purchasing and coordinating deliveries for job start up in the Georgetown / Austin area. Became Superintendant / Project Manager of 3.2 million dollar Project at San Antonio International Airport contracted to install a new water, 16 Sanitary Sewer ( Both PVC and HDPE SDR-11 pipe in Bores ). Worked with Prime Contractor, Construction Managers and Engineer of Record. Was responsible to create in the field RFIs, respond to Construction Change Directives and Change Orders to mitigate incomplete plans and provide general sketches to facilitate constructability. Assisted in estimates for Lift Stations, Plant Piping, Yard Piping, Pumps, Large Diameter Wastewater Line and Large Diameter Water Distribution Mains. As Project Manager, oversaw 5 General Superintendents, 2 Contract Administrators and working with our 5 man Estimating team on Plan revisions and cost changes. Hands on working experience with inspection authorities and Engineers to provide timely revisions. Initiated a real time costing approach for the Commercial Division that eventually expanded to include all Company Divisions, reducing risk and identifying areas of reduced profitability.
