Came aboard with primary responsibility of material take-off, submittals, purchasing and coordinating deliveries for job start up in the Georgetown / Austin area. Became Superintendant / Project Manager of 3.2 million dollar Project at San Antonio International Airport contracted to install a new water, 16 Sanitary Sewer ( Both PVC and HDPE SDR-11 pipe in Bores ). Worked with Prime Contractor, Construction Managers and Engineer of Record. Was responsible to create in the field RFIs, respond to Construction Change Directives and Change Orders to mitigate incomplete plans and provide general sketches to facilitate constructability. Assisted in estimates for Lift Stations, Plant Piping, Yard Piping, Pumps, Large Diameter Wastewater Line and Large Diameter Water Distribution Mains. American Asphalt and Grading Utilities Division June 2005 to Feb. 2007
Start up of Commercial Utilities Division and Senior Estimator / Project Manager responsible for acquiring clients, estimating projects, issuing subcontracts, purchasing materials and project coordinating. As Project Manager, oversaw 5 General Superintendents, 2 Contract Administrators and working with our 5 man Estimating team on Plan revisions and cost changes. Hands on working experience with inspection authorities and Engineers to provide timely revisions. Initiated a real time costing approach for the Commercial Division that eventually expanded to include all Company Divisions, reducing risk and identifying areas of reduced profitability. Projects range for $45,000.00 to $2.2 Million with the Commercial Division contributing Revenue of $27 Million of the overall Company Revenue of $360 million.

Project Manager and Purchasing for Grading, Paving and Utility contractor. Managed clients with design build Projects, primarily Large Commercial Projects ranging from $75,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Responsible for taking Projects from conceptual design, working directly with Engineering and Architectural partners to ensure designs met or exceeding local codes and restrictions while meeting Clients requirements and while obtaining permits on schedule. Co-Energy Group June 2001 to June 2002
Sr. Estimator for Design / Build installation of Geo-Thermo Energy Saving Equipment in Military Base Housing and Military Commercial Buildings including retrofits and remodeling of facilities. Assisted evaluation of design recommendations and logistics with Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Base Commanders and Specialty Suppliers. Administered Contracts and Subcontracts for Installations including work performed by Co-Energy Group. Senior Estimator for a General Contractor for Design Build Projects in Public Works and Private sector. Team leader and oversaw direction of Civil / M/ P/ E designs and drawings as an Owners Representative through Approval by Authorities having Jurisdiction. Placed RFPs out for Bid, review and recommend Award of Contracts and or Purchase Agreements and executed Contracts and Purchase Orders. Administered Contract Conformance, Project performance, scheduling and costs on Projects. Assisted in Estimate take-offs of Wastewater Treatment Plants / Water Treatment Plants, piping and equipment. Responsible for Purchase Agreements and Contracts for major Pipe, Pipe Fabrications and Equipment orders. Review of Submittal materials for compliance; submit to Owners representatives for review and distribution along with O&Ms. Gathered data to substantiate Monthly Pay Application and met with Project Engineer for approval. Scheduling of equipment commissioning and systems demonstrations including SCADA, start-up, Certifications, EPA compliance reports, O&M Manuals and created Treatment Plant Operator training plans and implementation.
