505 West 47th Street, New York, NY Owners representative for new construction of 80,000 SF of 2 seven story buildings with 109 luxury residential units being build on a platform over railroad tracks on the west side of Manhattan. The two buildings are cast-in-place reinforced concrete and the platform is a combination of structural steel and pre-cast plank with crash walls on two sides of the tracks. The faade of the building is a combination of glass window wall system and block and brick piers
3700 Bedford Avenue Brooklyn, New York Owners representative for new construction of a 77,000 SF, 8 story luxury rental tower consists of 51 units. Structure of the building is cast-in-place reinforced concrete on spread footing foundation. The faade of the building is a glass window wall system and brick veneer on stud framing back-up system


BFC PARTNERS, Brooklyn, NY 2007 2009
Project Manager: Realized exceptional leadership of the following projects:

Crowne Plaza Hotel, Manhattan, New York: Design of 30-story, 170,000 square-foot structure involving 300 keys, rooftop pool and bar, meeting rooms, and restaurant. Budget: $70M. Collaborated in design of visually appealing and cost-efficient window wall system, reducing materials and labor costs by as much as 40%. Facilitated targeting the design for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Accreditation with integration of windmill source energy on rooftop of tower.
Myrtle Avenue Condominium, Brooklyn, New York: Build of 38-story, 310,000 square-foot condominium with 240 residences on floors 3 through 37, co-generation plant, indoor pool, health club, lounge, parking on cellar and second level, and retail and commercial office space. Budget: $123M. Transitioned from open shop union work environment to non-union environment in midst of assignment, resulting in project savings of 30%. Constructed 30-foot basement-level excavation alongside New York City MTA tunnel, as well as emergency egress concrete stairway from tunnel into building and exit at street level in compliance with MTA regulations, resulting in savings of 40%.

MONROE CENTER & TERN LANDING DEVELOPMENT, Hoboken, NJ 2004 2007
Director of Design & Construction: Spearheaded the design & pre-construction of the following projects:

Monroe Center for the Arts, Hoboken, New Jersey: Design and pre-construction of mixed-use complex with 250,000 square-feet of occupied commercial tenant space and 750,000 square-feet of new residential construction situated on 14 acres of land. Renovated 250,000 square-feet of existing core and shell facilities in 2 operating buildings to upgrade heating, cooling, fire protection, lighting, main electric service, lobbies, toilets, building shell, and roof areas with 0 displacement or disruption to businesses. Completed design process for 750,000 square-feet of new residential construction and assembled non-union subcontractors, resulting in reduction of construction budget by 30%.
Tern Landing, Elizabeth, New Jersey: Design and pre-construction of 7,000,000 square-foot mixed-use project on 30-acre site involving construction of residential, retail, and office space; as well as hotel, charter school, ferry terminal, and light railroad system. Facilitated creation of green living environment according to LEED protocol for design.

HRH CONSTRUCTION LLC, White Plains, NY 2003 2004
Project Manager: Optimized performance of the following projects:

The Residences at Jefferson Place, White Plains, New York: Construction of residential complex involving 3 multi-level buildings with 285 luxury apartments, retail space, and landscaped plazas, as well as access road leading to 3-level parking garage. Budget: $70M. Applied post tensioned approach to concrete structural design of main building, reducing concrete contract cost by 20%. Utilized reinforced concrete block and concrete plank design for low-rise residential building, resulting in savings of 25% in related trades. Participated in creation of logistics plan for concrete pours, resulting in time savings of 1 month.
Park Place Condominium, Brooklyn, New York: Construction of 100,000 square-foot complex with 47 luxury condominiums and retail space. Budget: $30M. Achieved compliance for re-use of 50% of existing building shell previously housing movie theater constructed in 1921. Created cost-efficient steel bracing system within masonry exterior building shell to include extension of 7 stories beyond existing building, resulting in savings of 2 months on construction schedule.

TURNER CONSTRUCTION, New York, NY 2000 2003
Project Manager: Construction highlights include the following:

South Street Seaport Museum, New York, New York: Reconstruction and expansion of 200-year-old, 125,000 square-foot masonry and wood-framed complex with 40 apartments and 7 retail stores situated on full city block. Budget: $20M. Oversaw selective demolition, restoration, and fit-out of 75,000 square-feet over 6 stories of new museum space, expanding existing facility to remainder of building complex unoccupied since 1800s. Teamed with museum staff, archeologists, and historians during construction process for protection of site artifacts. Provided new mechanical heating and cooling plant throughout complex.
