Senior Project Manager (2006-2009)
Participated in conceptual development of construction project with Preconstruction and Estimating departments; oversaw organization, scheduling, implementation of projects to achieve common goals of project team. Reported directly to Senior VP of Construction, and interfaced with owners, architects, engineers to ensure project completion. Additional duties included:
* New employee orientation and overall development of EMJ Corporation training objectives.

* In addition managed up to four Lowe's projects at a time during these three years.
Project Manager (1999-2006)
Became a trusted member of the Lowe's Companies, Inc. team; turned over 37 Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouses on time and within budget here are a few success stories: * Lowe's of East Fort Worth, TX; $9,543,800-175,000sf: A structural steel tilt wall structure, with a thirty foot high retaining wall next to a creek. * Lowe's of N. Central Houston, TX; $7,385,025-135,700sf: A structural steel and masonry structure, with an existing street running through the middle of the building that was to be abandoned. * Lowe's of Riverdale, UT; $8,548,000-157,000sf: A structural steel and masonry structure, this project had a building pad that had to be surcharged for eight weeks. * Lowe's of Palestine, TX; $7,540,000-137,843sf: A structural steel tilt wall structure, with a thirty eight foot high retaining wall within forty-five feet of the structure.
Other projects turned over with much success and challenges: * Covenant Transport, Hutchins, TX; $5,268,148-30,240sf: This project had a major AT&T transmission cable running through the site. * Panama City Retail Center, Panama City, FL; $3,450,900- 64,000sf: A new construction project consisting of a Retail Shopping Center with a Bed Bath and Beyond and Ross. The project was turned over on time within a 106 day schedule to avoid a $150,000.00 penalty for late turnover.
FURR'S SUPERMARKETS, INC1994-1999
Project Manager (1994-1999)
Participated in the overall project scheduling and delivery of Supermarkets to ensure a timely completion for Grand Opening. Worked directly with Architects and Engineers to review plans and make necessary decisions to solve problems. Worked on renovations of existing stores in addition to new construction projects. Additional duties included:
* Helped with design and developments of individual departments in the supermarket, examples include design of the bakery, deli, video, customer service, meat market, etc. * Ensured the General Contractor stayed on schedule and worked with subcontractors along with the General Contractor to solve problems. * Worked directly with Store Management and District Managers, reducing sales loss during renovations. This included customer service as well as keeping the store clean and neat during the remodel.
