Position responsibilities include the solicitation, negotiation and management of all architectural and engineering design contracts and consultants for the development of a 400 acre private island within the Bahamas. Project includes a Jack Nicklaus signature golf club, 200 slip, mega-yacht marina, 5 star+ boutique hotel and spa, 80 single-family estate homesites, and 180 private luxury villas, townhomes and flats in addition to the supporting island-wide infrastructures, both on and off island.
Manage all design consultants and ensure communication and coordination between consultants and the project team are established and maintained throughout the project cycle.
Manage the design soft cost budget and ensure that the creative vision and concept of the project is integrated and maintained into the design by multiple design consultants and sub-consultants.
Responsible for ensuring that the design and documentation of all disciplines meet the required budget, quality standards and schedule objectives of the project.
Coordinate and manage the entitlement/permitting process and provide guidance and insight relative to the optimum bidding/delivery strategies for all components of the construction, owner-furnished materials/equipment, FF&E, and OS&E procurement.

Key project manager involved in the $1B Global Gateway expansion at Newark International Airport. Immediate focus was on expanding the terminals, gates and all other attendant operational facilities of Continental Airlines at this important hub location. Led multi-discipline team effort in developing master planning services, feasibility studies and concept design review with the concurrence of industry partners, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as well as multiple Federal and State regulatory and administrative agencies.
