Senior Project Manager Responsible for project specific entitlement, finance, design and construction activities for development of large scale build-to-suit and speculative commercial, industrial, distribution and retail projects throughout California, southern Nevada and southern Arizona for such fortune companies as Wal-Mart and Federal Express Corporation. Facilitated and managed design efforts and construction of multiple, highly mechanized distribution projects for Wal-Mart and Federal Express. Led value engineering studies that contributed to cost savings equal to 5% of initial project cost Coordinated design, budget analysis, construction and third party vendor contracts to complete projects in advance of scheduled completion dates.

Principal Principal of a consulting services firm that provided business development, financial management, construction management and real estate development advisory services to institutional clients, including the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and Old Stone Federal Savings Bank (Providence, RI). Also provided project management consultancy services for design and construction of a 335,000 square foot corporate office, manufacturing & assembly and a Class 10,000 clean room circuit board manufacturing facility for Anacomp Corporation. Executive Project Manager Chief operating officer responsible for finance, business development, entitlement, legal, design and general construction operations for a $1.0 Billion, 318 acre mixed-use development project. This single-site project included planned development of over one million square feet of commercial office, retail, hotel and multi-unit housing. Directed development, finance and construction groups responsible for planning (at that time) the largest single site, mixed-use project in San Diego, CA Lobbied and was awarded permits from the Federal Highway Administration (FHA) for construction of a full interchange connecting the project site to Interstate 15. Managed consultant teams responsible for design of the interchange project and led interface efforts with the FHA.
PANGEA CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT, INC., Solvang (Santa Barbara), CA 1985 - 1988
President Launched and then led all operations for an integrated real estate development, architectural practice and general construction division of a regional real estate syndication company. Successfully developed and constructed over $65M worth of commercial and multi-family projects located within the central California market. Principal responsible for accelerated start-up of an integrated real estate, design and construction service company that profitably constructed over $65M worth of vertical building projects. Senior Project Manager Operations management responsibility for construction of over $40 million worth of heavy/civil and municipal construction projects in southern Mississippi and southern Louisiana.
