Covered seven So. Cal Counties. Supervision of 30 installers and 30 sales reps. Duties included job scheduling, crew meetings, warehouse supervision, oversee Regional office, P&L resposibilites, hiring & termination of installers, sales recomendations, troubleshooting, customer service. Installations revenue was $1,000,000 per month
2/1988 - 3/1990 Sherwin- Williams Paint Co. Lakewood, CA ASM / Contractor Rep. Responsible for sales efforts in the Long Beach area of Industrial & Chemical coatings and general painting contractors, and Assistant Store Manager. My objective was to build the territory from a base of one existing on-going account to over 90 store accounts within one year. As ASM responsibilities covered customer service, store inventory, training, hiring, terminating of employees. Involved in P&L. Store Merchandising. Color matching, mixing paint.
2/1984 - 1/1988 Icee USA (Frozen carbonated beverage industry) Anaheim/Ca District Manager Sales and operations manager for the largest district within the company, over 300 retail accts. Working from corporate offices and plant I had the duties of overseeing the manufacturing process of dispensing equipment and responsibilities included sales of equipment program to major chain accounts i.e. AM-PM, K-Mart, Sears, etc. and numerous individual establishments. Recruit, hire & train all sales & marketing staff, route scheduling, etc. Manage the daily operations of distributors, technicians, and marketing & sales staff to insure full serviceability to each account, insure customer satisfaction, and continually searching out new markets. Responsible for complete budget analysis and bottom line profitability.
4/1978 - 2/1984 Del Taco Costa Mesa, CA Supervisor / Franchise Coordinator Responsible for unit operations, sales budgets, training scheduling. I also had the task of training the hard case managers to try and managers out of them or terminate their employment. I also opened up the San Jose area operations when Del Taco first began to expand. Took on the role of Franchise coordinator (liaison between Franchisee & Del Taco) when Del Taco began to franchise their units.
