- NOTE: Prior to my employment, Safway had suffered the loss of key employees that started a rival company. Hired to stop the exodus of customers and build sales back up.
- Helped the engineering staff to develop a scheduling method that linked the engineering department to sales and operations.
- Detected a labor market shortfall and formulated a business plan to include cycling of Safway shoring equipment with the rental of the equipment.
- Created and submitted to management a business plan that showed the enormous profit potential of providing E&D services of Safway rental equipment approved by the CEO.
- Trained Safway Services, Scaffolding Division, in the nuances of shoring equipment, how to properly lay out a project and profitably erect and dismantle the equipment.

- Managed all work that I bid and sold, created work schedule, change orders and managed P&L.
- Designed and built a 10,000-gallon underground concrete water storage tank built in an operating plastic extrusion plant without undermining the structural walls and columns. Designed a construction process and forming systems to form and pour the entire tank-base, walls and lid monolithically.

- Entered Mid Project: Turned around a failed 2 floor 8 level concrete parking garage
- Designed a method that allowed the upper stepped level decks cast in place before the lower level decks due to lack of crane access.

- Invented and patented a new product for the natural gas and municipal water utility industry.

- Entered Mid Project – Company was having a difficult time performing the concrete work to the designed standards. I restored the relationship through honesty, training and quality craftsmanship.
- Designed all concrete formwork constructed by carpenters.
- Managed all concrete work performed: new 50’H concrete spillway extension, two large valve vault chambers, four massive thrust blocks, ½ mile of penstock supports and discharge center.
- Installation of 86” OD steel penstock supply lines.
- Worked extensively with project owners, Seattle Water Works Department, on design changes and negotiated several project change orders.
- Managed environmental aspects of project in a Seattle’s environmentally sensitive watershed reservoir area.

- Redesigned an existing failed dam to be able to pass 100-year flood flows by enlarging structure with a new flood flow spillway, gate structure, stop log flood control gates and canal entrance.
