I have over 20 years of experience in the
design/construction industry including work on commercial, residential,
industrial, retail, healthcare, educational, recreation, municipal and
government projects. I have experience in both private and public procurement
utilizing Traditional, Design-Build, CMAR, and Owner-Build delivery methods. I
also have sound knowledge of the public procurement process.
I am certified as a CMAA Certified Construction Manager,
a PMI Certified Associate in Project Management and hold a valid Massachusetts
Construction Supervisors License. I possess an Associate's degree in
Architecture, a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, and a Master's
degree in Project Management.
Throughout my career, I have held many positions
including draftsman, job captain, construction coordinator, construction
administrator, estimator, scheduler and project manager. I have developed and
managed projects throughout all phases including conceptual, schematic, design
& development, procurement, preconstruction, construction and closeout for
new construction, additions, alterations, interior fit-ups and renovation
projects.
Duties have included due diligence reporting,
programming, drawing and specification development, permitting, phasing,
estimating, scheduling, budgeting, materials testing, special inspections,
biddabilty/constructability reviews, contract negotiation/buyouts, delay/claims
analysis, code analysis, and business development.
