Over the past two decades I have managed the
build-out and opening of over 1000 stores and restaurants. I have managed these
projects as a representative for the Landlord, Tenant and General Contractor.
This experience provides for expert level knowledge in negotiating work-letters
and construction exhibits, coordinating tenant MEP requirements vs
base-building capacity, managing the delivery of tenant spaces, reviewing
construction documents for impact on base-building systems, compliance with
design criteria, building codes etc... I have been building stores for over 20 years
and am a strong negotiator and site manager. I have extensive experience
in delivering results on tight schedules and budgets. I am
experienced in data bases including Microsoft Project, Timberline/Sage, MS
Office, Acrobat and other programs. A few of my more recent
accomplishments are:
- 2012
completed large expansion of a Super Regional Mall (Destiny USA Syracuse
NY) delivering several turnkey tenant build-outs early and under budget,
increasing rent revenue and reducing construction costs.
- 2011
Oversaw all LL turn-over and Tenant related Construction on a 25 million
dollar expansion and renovation of Trumbull Mall's new Dining Terrace with
a dozen new Food Court Tenants. Collaborated with local municipalities and
building departments to reduce permit timelines saving thousands of
dollars in construction delays and increasing rent revenue.
- 2010
Managed large lease turnover at Grand Central Terminal in NYC with 20 plus
inline tenants 10 plus food court tenants all remodeling their spaces in a
1 year span.
- 2009
Managed tenant submittals and build-outs on the remodel and rebranding of
Bergen Town Centre with nearly 1 million square feet of new inline, big
box anchors and restaurants.
- 2006
Managed all retail and restaurant construction on NYCs first lifestyle
center in Glendale NY a property consisting of 7 buildings with 700,000
square feet of new retail, restaurant and entertainment space.
- 2004
Managed tenant construction on the expansion and remodel of Queens Center
Mall a 400 million dollar project with over 100 new inline retail spaces,
a dozen new food court spaces and several restaurants.
- 2000
Managed the construction of world famous Chef Tom Colichios first
restaurant Craft on east 19th street in Manhattan.
