Specialized engineering solution provider of industrial automation, electrical engineering, control systems, drafting and information solutions. Managed 25+ professional engineers, including contract engineers and trades personnel. Served on Board of Directors.
Projects included new plant for Cadbury Confectionary, plant expansion for Bovis Lend Lease, upgrade of an automation system for Uncle Tobys Snack Foods, and Monsanto project. As a technical advisor, directed design of new products, modified existing designs, improved production techniques and developed testing procedures.
Senior Electrical Project Engineer, Bovis Lend Lease, 1993 to 1997. Global project management and construction company operating in 30+ countries worldwide with annual sales of $1B+. Delivered complete power, electrical and automation components for projects. Provided cost estimates for capital expenditure programs.
Electrical Engineering Manager, Cadbury Schweppes, 1992 to 1993. Global confectionery manufacturer with plants in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and North and South America. Promoted to this position to establish an electrical maintenance team and manage a preventative maintenance program. Built to 30-person team.
