PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
My father owned a self employed business in the Southern Oregon area for many years until 1977. Working in my fathers business from an early age taught me work ethics and leadership examples that have mentored me for many years. My mother was a stay at home mom until my sister and I had grown into our teens, later starting and operating a long haul trucking business in Southern Oregon. After my father retired from his business I began working for a number of construction companies during summers and breaks through college. When I graduated from vocational school I worked in the auto repair field, quickly taking an opportunity and buying my own business in 1986. After selling my auto business in 1987 I moved back to Oregon and opened my own construction company. I soon began to be asked by other builders to manage their companies and have in some form been doing that ever since. Married to wife Sheila in 2000; I am a stepfather to two daughters, now 24 and 31. Adopted a daughter in 2005.
Awarded Lifetime Membership in Cambridge Whos Who in 2009; listed in 2009/2010 edition
