Established fast-growing Communication Services Division. Changing telecommunications market created new business opportunity for PEC. Encouraged by sales prospects, trained personnel to provide highly complex wiring services for large-scale voice and data systems. Company was soon recognized as an NYC market leader. Tasked to grow and improve both sales and profitability. Reorganized estimating, streamlined field operations and opened new markets. Managed staff of 75 and $5M budget. General Manager, High-Tech Electrical Services Corp., 1994 to 2009. Managed overall operations including business development and financial oversight for this $20M electrical construction company. Directed bid and estimating process including all negotiations for closing of work opportunities. P&L responsibility over staff of 135.
