SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Managed successful startup to $20M sales. Identified growing market in fast track interior electrical fit-outs for construction managers, general contractors and end users. Leveraged previous experience at High-Tech Electrical (HTE) to develop new business, control costs and set up efficient systems. Grew business to $20M in six years.
Quick completion leads to $48M in business. HTE was asked to manage emergency project with new client to build out switch sites, web hosting sites and data centers. Mobilized, motivated, trained and led staff to meet short time frame of complex installation turnarounds. Successful completion led to 20 projects over six years worth $48M.
Played key role in build-out of state-of-the-art Nokia Theatre. HTE was selected as electrical contractor for transforming NYC landmark. Involved in pre-construction planning, value engineering and construction. Successfully designed & installed electrical, life/safety, lighting, audio and other systems for $20M project.
Led electrical design/build for simultaneous projects. HTE worked with major international construction manager, engineers and architects on two complex projects; Apple Computers flagship NYC store and total rehab of a 21-story commercial building. Completed $5M and $6M projects on time and under budget.
Mastered leading edge technologies to open new markets. Petrocelli Electric (PEC) had an opportunity to break into fiber optic cable. As Project Manager, worked with Manhattan Cable Television on pilot program. Quickly built expertise and expanded business to banks and brokerage houses, building private data networks worth $50M.
Established fast-growing Communication Services Division. Changing telecommunications market created new business opportunity for PEC. Encouraged by sales prospects, trained personnel to provide highly complex wiring services for large-scale voice and data systems. Company was soon recognized as an NYC market leader.
CAREER HISTORY
Project Executive, E-J Electrical Installations Co, 20092010. Joined $250M company post-acquisition of High-Tech Electrical Services Corp. Tasked to grow and improve both sales and profitability. Reorganized estimating, streamlined field operations and opened new markets. Managed staff of 75 and $5M budget.
General Manager, High-Tech Electrical Services Corp., 1994 to 2009. Managed overall operations including business development and financial oversight for this $20M electrical construction company. Directed bid and estimating process including all negotiations for closing of work opportunities. P&L responsibility over staff of 135.
Earlier: Was VP of Sales and Operations for Petrocelli Electric Co after starting as Project Manager. Also, Project Manager with Arbys for two years. Began career with Heifetz Metal Crafts as Plant Electrician and was promoted to Chief Electrician.
