-- As an Electronic Project Engineer (GS-11) participated in High Altitude Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Qualifications, Verification, Test & Evaluation (T&E) of fleet of Strategic NAVY aircraft.
-- Reviewed and made recommendations on Request for Proposals (RFP's), Statement of Work (SOW's), test and evaluation master plans (TEMP), design specifications, requirements, and waivers. Performed long term budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
-- Wrote test plans, test procedures, and then supervised system level Precipitation Static (P-Static) tests on Tactical NAVY aircraft.
-- Wrote test plans, test procedures, and supervised Hardware-In-The-Loop-Test (HITL) of Power Cart used in powering-up of strategic NAVY aircraft to determine the HEMP effects during pre-flight power-up procedures.
-- Provided Lightning Effects project support to V-22 aircraft program.
-- Assisted in transfer of Proof-Of-Principle (POP) Lightning Effects Simulator from Boeing Aerospace, Seattle, Washington to Naval Air Warfare Center, Saint Mary's Maryland.

-- Managed GGS-POLAR & WIND for Spacecraft Charging effects for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), which resulted in implementation of unique use of surface materials to mitigate Electromagnetic Discharge (ESD), and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), associated with Spacecraft-Charging effects at geostationary orbits.
-- Performed Spacecraft-Charging analysis & tests on materials, surface paints, solar arrays, and thin films and presented results to NASA which resulted in design changes.
- Performed market research and determined unique solutions to eliminate Spacecraft Charging effects at geostationary orbits. Assisted in application of Hardware-In-The-Loop-Test (HITL) methodologies in performing environmental tests that simulated real-world spacecraft-charging effects on satellites.
-- Developed, designed test methodologies and test fixtures, then performed tests on thermal control surfaces, and materials as functions of liquid nitrogen temperatures while being exposed to 30KeV electron beam in vacuum, and presented findings to NASA which resulted in redesign of instrument thermal surfaces to minimize Electrostatic Discharge due to spacecraft charging.
-- Assisted in test planning, test preparation, and System-Level Spacecraft Current Injection Tests of a full-scale mock up of a spacecraft to determine Spacecraft Charging Effects on satellites at GEO synchronous orbits.
-- Managed TIROS-KLM satellite project for Space Radiation effects for NASA to within cost & schedule. Performed detailed Total Dose effects analysis at spacecraft-level, sub-system level, and semiconductor piece-parts level, and presented the results at Preliminary Design Reviews, and Critical Design Reviews. Assisted in Radiation effects testing of semiconductor piece-parts

-- As a Senior EMC Field Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer wrote test plans, test procedures, and then performed electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), and Lightning tests on subsystems to determine compliance as stated in various test standards such as MIL-STD-461C, RTCA/DO-160B.
-- Per National Bureau of Standards Technical Note 1092 designed, & supervised construction of an all welded aluminum Mode Stirr Chamber (i.e. Reverberation chamber) for Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
-- As a Research Assistant performed calibration & assisted in exploratory research on application of modified Reverberation Chamber for NRL to simulate electromagnetic environment experienced by electrical systems and subsystems on NAVY ship and Carrier Top-Side deck.
-- Performed research and tests on various composite materials, sheilding materials, elastomers, and coatings to shield against EMI, EMP, and EMC.
-- Performed elementary circuit analysis using P-SPICE, and MATLAB to determine effectiveness of filters.
