Managed the Technical Department for hazardous waste treatment, disposal, monitoring and permitting, handling, storage, and air quality for the companys chemical and pharmaceutical divisions. Responsibilities included working with Federal and State regulatory agencies obtaining and maintaining permits, Compliance, modifying changes to processes and waste classifications, securing DEA and Texas DPS controlled substances certifications, and meeting the latest Department of Homeland Security measures. Responsible for EPA and State compliance under 40 CFR - Environment including RCRA, NPDES, Title V Air, SARA, and CERCLA. Additional responsibilities included HAZMAT and lab pack services for the handling, treatment, shipping and disposal outlined further in 49 CFR - DOT regulations, and chain of custody verification and documentation.

Applied technology to the healthcare industry for the proper disposal of hospital and infectious biological waste. Refinery. Developed spent caustic treatment process and implemented at many refineries and TS&DFs.
Disinfection. Formulated new and effective disinfection chemicals to food, beverage, and healthcare industries.
Chemical VOC Emissions. Successfully treated transient chemical odors and refractory compounds in water.
Biological. Conducted biological treatability studies and plant augmentation.
Sludge Conditioning & Dewatering. Developed numerous sludge conditioning programs for solids recovery.
