WORK EXPERIENCE
EJM Engineering Chicago, IL 2007 to 2010
- Position: Resident Engineer for METRA at Calumet Station in Hazel Crest, IL
- Duties included planning, designing, and overseeing construction of the new railroad
station, the structures, and facilities such as roads, railroad, pipelines, water and sewage
disposal systems.
- Coordinated with tradesmen and professionals in Architectural, structural and traffic.
- Responsible for submittals, recordkeeping, pay estimates, adherence to contract specs.
- Responsible for pile driving to stabilize railroad track embankment. Also oversaw concrete
inspection, day-to-day field reports, quantity calculation, and editing others quantity
calculations.
- Position: Field Engineer for the Chicago Millennium Park Tunnel Project.
- Duties included overseeing the construction of two open-cut tunnels for pedestrian and small
vehicle traffic.
- Responsible for pile driving to stabilize the sub-grade under the new tunnels. This was the lakeshore that was reclaimed after the Chicago Worlds Fair. Also oversaw concrete
inspection, day-to-day field reports, quantity calculation, and editing others quantity
calculations.

- Positions: Resident Engineer and Field Inspector on the Indiana Toll Road Rehabilitation
Project for the Electronic Toll Collection system for the Indiana Toll Road.
- Positions: Office Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer on the Chicago Skyway and Bridge. responsible for tracking Pay Item quantities for four contracts, all Contract Quantity books, pay estimates, EEO/DBE, and QA/QC data entries.
- Assisted in testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.

- Position: Assistant Resident Engineer for construction on the Open Road Tolling
System for State of Illinois at Toll Plazas 17 (Des Plaines Ave.) and 19 (River Road).
- Responsible for the day-to-day-field operations over six Field Inspectors.
- Oversaw the demolition and erection of the three bridges on Interstate 90 Toll Road (over Des Plaines highway, over the Canadian National Railroad, live tracks, and over River Road highway including complete demolition of four lanes of roadway and reinstallation from sub-grade to asphalt, aggregates, and currant building materials.
