Job Description: Architectural Project Management and Administration, CADD and PC Network Manager. Responsible for employee supervision to design buildings and produce construction documents for primarily retail clients. Projects ranged from interior finish-outs to big box stores. Primary clients were developers establishing store and/or restaurant locations in Texas and 15 other states. Big box retail stores included Kmart, Western Auto, Builders Square, PetsMart, and Kroger Supermarket. Restaurants included Panchos Mexican Buffet, Sirloin Stockade, Sizzler Restaurant, and K-Bobs Steakhouse. I assisted clients in site selection and property research / feasibility studies (environmental site assessments, geotechnical investigations / analysis, property surveys, topographical surveys, traffic analysis, frontage and right-of-ways, zoning classifications and requirements, parking / landscaping requirements, utility easements and availability). Also, my responsibility was to coordinate projects with consulting engineers (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, and civil) and owners fixtures and equipment suppliers.
