6/2006 to present Construction Manager on Villa Riviera, a Long Beach 17 story historic condominium historic renovation including many layers of lead paint removal.

Construction Manager and Superintendent for a 600 acre, 18 hole private golf course development with 205 home sites in the City of Chino Hills. Responsibilities include coordination with all public/private agencies, procurement and management of site and infrastructure work. Directed and coordinated efforts of Architects and Engineers on design and field technical issues

2003-2005 Construction Manager-Vice President, Burnett Development Co.
Development company specializing in land purchase, project entitlements, site and infrastructure work. Responsible for all aspects of entitlements, design/development, permits, procurement and construction management of site and infrastructure work. Select projects also included product build out. Range of responsibilities included design/ development, permits, procurement and project management. Project included construction of new golf course, new infrastructure, complete remodel of Clubhouse including the addition of eleven thousand square feet of Banquet Facility. Other projects included retail and office, both remodel and tenant improvements.

2000-2001Vice President, B.H. Miller Companies
Commercial Development and General Contracting firm specializing in the development of tilt-up industrial office parks and all types of third party commercial work on the GC side. Worked with ownership during the site selection, design and development of in house projects. Performed project management and, at times, site supervision during all aspects of construction. Projects include Sunrise Ford, Torrey Pines Office Park, St. Marys and All Angels School and Claremont Auto Center.

1998-2000 Maxon Contracting Inc.
Start-up commercial general contracting firm specializing in building conversions and tenant improvements. Most significant project required on site project management and field supervision, from clear and grub through building construction, for the $20 million Oaks Christian High School. Also provided project management for a $3.7 million exterior/interior gut and rehab renovation of an 8 story office building at 898 Sepulveda, and $1.5 million tenant improvements for USC/ISI.

Initially I was hired as a hands-on Operations Manager/Senior Project Manager by the Vice President who was sales oriented. He was later let go and I was promoted to Vice President Worked in-concert with the Development team during the acquisition of several new properties. USC/ISI: 60,000 sf of multi-phased tenant improvements in a fully occupied 12 story Marina Del Rey office building. This is the internet entity of USC requiring the latest in technological improvements.

898 Sepulveda: Rehab and upgrade of an eight story office building, including demo to shell condition with all glazing removed. Complete reconstruction of shell and core, building systems, common areas, and landscape/hardscape.

St. Johns Medical Plaza: $2.6 million weld repair project to a five story medical office building. Required completion via a 7/24 working schedule to prevent Tenant defection through the constructive eviction clause of their leases. Required an additional $1 million in tenant improvement repairs,

Pinkerton Building: $10 million project in an 18 story, fully occupied, Encino office building. Combined scope of weld repairs, seismic retrofit, and elevator rail realignment.

Encino Gateway: $1 million weld repair project in a fully occupied 20 story office building.

Warner Center: $3 million weld repair project to a fully occupied 14 story class A office building.

Avnet: 62,000 sf fast tract tenant improvement project for a computer hardware distributor.

Encino Gateway Lobby & Common Area Remodel: $2.5 million remodel of building entry and lobby.

5415/5425 Sepulveda: $2.5 million multi-family project abandoned after the Northridge earthquake. Included teardown, new construction, repairs, remodel and seismic retrofit.

Imperial Bank Building: 400,000 sf of high end tenant improvements on a unit price basis for Trammel Crow. Tenants included Merrill Lynch, Imperial Bank, Deloite Touche, etc.

Lake Arrowhead Village: Seven building wood frame and stucco mixed use project including refurbishment of remaining historical building. Build out of various retail and restaurant spaces.

Hybritech: $7 million, 50,000 sf biotech manufacturing facility including clean rooms, production, conveyance systems and office space.

Twin Tens: Two ten story steal frame and glass curtain wall office buildings. Project included all site work, surface parking and tenant improvements upon completion of shell and core.

Encinitas Retirement Hotel: $3 million, 100 room hotel, including full commercial kitchen, therapy and recreation areas. Completed project through Owner start up.


Disneyland Hotel: $2 million remodel of hotel and convention center lobbies and public spaces. On site supervision and project management for a multi-phased, multi-location project in fully occupied, highly visible environment.

Pacific Beach Promenade: 110,000 sf retail center on the beach. Underground parking structure with dewatering system with two story retail center on structural deck above. Tenant improvements for Pacific Eyes & Tees, McCormick & Schmicks, El Indio Restaurant and other retail tenants.

Oaks Christian High School: $22 million private high school. Remodel of 1960s era 110,000 sf concrete building into classrooms and administrative offices. Included a new gym, parking structure, Olympic swimming pool and multi-sport ball fields. Hardscape and softscape included.

Citicorp Plaza: 1.1 million sf high rise office building and retail center in downtown Los Angeles. Participated in due diligence process prior to purchase. Budgeted capital expenditures and the implementation of projects from design/development to tenant move-in. Developed policies and procedures for vendors working at Citicorp.

Carlsbad Center: 160,000 sf research and development office park. Tilt-up and glass curtain wall construction in a campus like site with lap pool and picnic areas.

McLellan Center: Two office buildings totaling 120,000 sf. Steel frame and glass curtain wall structures with parking structure and all sitework. A 60,000 sf tenant improvement completed in 6 weeks with shell and core Certificate of Occupancy.

Church at Tustin Ranch: Conversion and renovation of a 1960s era 88,000 sf office building for church use. Developed space for sanctuary, new central plant, new utilities and parking/site work.

Saint Marys & All Angles School: A 35,000 sf multi-purpose building for use as gymnasium, assembly hall, classrooms and food service. Included high tech audio/visual systems.

Rancho Cucamonga Town Square: 75,000 sf high end retail center across from City Hall. Tenants included Baja Fresh, Pei Wei, Coffee Bean & Tea, Daphnes, etc.

Old Ranch Country Club: $40 million reconfiguration of golf course, maintenance facilities, and remodel of club house. Required extensive planning and negotiations with City of Seal Beach, Federal Government, Orange County, etc.

Vellano: $115 million residential and golf course development in Chino Hills. 205 homesites, 18 hole Greg Norman golf course and all support facilities.
