Dear Sir or Madam,
I have extensive experience (over 23 years) in the industrial and commercial construction field. Approximately 70% of the projects Ive completed are Design/Build, where my responsibilities included writing proposals, closing and contracting, design oversight and management, construction, and close out.
Developing customers and marketing projects has been a cornerstone of my career for the past 16 years, followed closely by drastic improvements in safety and health performance, and a corresponding drop in workers compensation expenses . I believe you will find my proposal skills, communication skills, and situational awareness very strong. I am comfortable making presentations in booklets, letters, one on one, or in large group presentations.
A sampling of the projects include 350,000 square foot industrial complexes, various reroofs, ambulatory surgical centers, food processing plants, specialty industrial equipment foundations, pits, and other processes, nuclear facility premises construction, petroleum industry building construction, as well as other various public works projects, medical and hospital facilities, retail buildings, etc. These experiences have contributed to my understanding of industrial and construction safety, capital commitments and financing, as well as working with various personalities, especially architects, engineers, plant managers, and plant engineers.
I am currently employed, single, and am flexible on dates, travel, etc. I was raised farming, and have a strong, resilient, work ethic.
Thank you in advance for the consideration, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Brian D. Smith
