2009 2010 - White Residential Project Superintendent White Residential, Kirkland, Washington Project: For KB Warner Center CitiHomes. 191 Condo for Sales with 2 ½ level parking garage with podium, 3 courtyards, club house, leasing office. Rebuilt 41 units from the ground up due to fire. Tie in all mechanical, fire sprinkles, plumbing back to structure. Once the 41 units caught up to the rest of structure, started all finished trades. Started Owner walks with Unit turns. Started all exterior work with lath, plaster and brick veneer work.
2004 2009 Trammel Crow Residential Assistant Project Manager/Project Superintendent Trammell Crow Residential, Costa Mesa, California Project: Alexan Pacific Grove, project value of $ 35 million 6 story parking garage, surrounded by 4.5 story condominium apartments. 350,000 square foot project includes 278 luxury condominium units, fitness Center, community recreation facility, business and conference room, Sales/leasing center, and 10,000 sq. feet of retail space. The structure consists of A post-tension concrete parking structure, and a 5 story Type V wood framed Residential complex built over a post-tensioned slab on grade. Then was moved To Carlsbad CA. for a mixed use project called The Bluewater 72 total units. 51 Units live work, 15 town homes with 10,500 square foot of retail space and 12 units of affordable apartments with 16,018 square foot of retail space. The Structure consists of POST-TENSION concrete podium, Structural Steel. Responsibilities include: Evaluation of subcontractor bids and negotiations of subcontract and scopes of work.
2003 2004 Dreyfuss Construction Construction Manger/Superintendent Dreyfuss Construction, Culver City Brought on to complete 75 unit rehab for city of Long Beach. Start to finish 7 months
2002 -2003 Construction Manager/Superintendent Western Nation Construction, Irvine, California Jobsite: Woodland Hills for Legacy & Equity Partners Hired on to bring the Bella Vista (6000 DeSoto St. Woodland Hills, Ca.) Project back in control. Phase One 125 unite type five construction with one building On upper slope and the second 15 feet down the slope and tie together with a Drive through to a five and a half post tension parking structure. Turn phase One around and gave the Owner TCO for the first building in 90 days after the mold Remediation. Starting the dirt work and wet utility for another 190 units Three- story walk-up post tension slab on grades, with 15,000 square foot Clubhouse. There is also a third phase with 300 units and a design build seven Story- parking garage, which ties into the four buildings. On the second phase Im in the process of doing the buy out of all major trades, as we dont have a Project Manager on Board.
2000 2002 Construction Manager/Superintendent SNK Construction Pasadena, California Hired on to run and complete 135 high-end luxury apartments. The project Included extensive shoring for two levels of parking underground with Ground level commercial area and four stories of wood framing on top of Podium deck. The mid-level parking deck in the podium deck post tension. Extensive landscape with two elaborate courtyards with extensive Waterproofing. I participated with a selection of sub-contractors and negotiations of contracts. I am participation of the close out of the building.
1996 -2000 Construction Manager/Superintendent Fassberg Construction Encino, California Hired on to run and complete two luxury apartment complexes (15 units and 17 units). Both projects finished two months ahead of schedule. Was then moved to a mix-use project with one level of underground parking With three stories above. Project started from ground and was framed three Months ahead of schedule. Then on April 9, 1998, I was moved again to a very High profile project. This project was a large commercial project, 9 Million dollar, with large excavation and shoring, 4 ½ stories of post tension Parking above the ground floor of shops. The anchor legs where Ross and Sav-Ons with Rubios, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Pac-Bell and Gateway. This Project was on Wilshire Blvd, ½ blocks east of Bundy. As of November 1, 1999 I was again moved to Echo Park Hillside Project. This project entails Extensive excavation, shorting with tieback anchors and very extensive Structural concrete. For the last three months I was promoted to General Superintendent with 12 projects in process to oversee Superintendents and Schedules. I also was a liaison between Owner, Architect and Fassberg Construction.
1994 -1996 Client Representative Richard Evans Construction, Simi Valley, California Worked as a Client Representative for structural earthquake repair. Handled 75 clients to negotiate structural repair to their houses with insurance Companies. Was the right-hand man to Owner. Ran all the inside office Operations and worked closely with the Project Manager in regards to ordering Materials, scheduling manpower and hiring of subcontractors.
1992 1994 Estimator/Project Manager Troxler and Sons Construction, Simi Valley, California Estimator for Public Works projects ranging for 2 million to 10 million Dollars. Project Manager for an 8 million Public Works project from start to finish.
1987 1992 Assistant Purchasing Agent/Superintendent Jan Development, Beverly Hills, California Started our as an assistant Purchasing Agent buying out 5 project from 45-unit Apartment project to 360-unit apartment project. After buy-out, I became Project Manager and assisted job superintendents for scheduling and steering The projects to meet time schedules set by the Owner and band officials. Started and finished the 360-units apartment project for off-site, on-site and Major structural concrete to final completion of the project 3 months ahead of schedule.
1980 1987 Purchasing Agent/Project Manager Trim-Pac Inc., Sun Valley, California Ran outside sales force with 2-5 people under myself to cover major projects Across Southern California. The annual sales range was from 2 million to 10 million With some of the larger builders in California (Pardee, Kaufman & Broad, Marlborough and Larwin Homes). Also scheduled installation crews to man the above projects.
1976 1980 Stamper/Lead Foreman Shea Brother/Lasting Impression Westlake Village, California During my junior and senior year of high school summers I trained to stamp concrete. For the Next two years after high I ran crews with 5 to 10 men stamping concrete projects from San Diego, California to Northern California. One year traveled to US demonstrating the concrete stamping technique to investors.
