Power Partners / MasTec 4th quarter, 2008 Alternative Energy, Utilities and Wind Farm Construction

CM/ QA / QC for PacifiCorp Wind Farm Project in Glenrock / Rolling Hills, Wyoming to include all
Overhead distribution and transmission lines plus substation and interconnect civil construction.
Responsible for quality control of the construction of 15 miles of 954 34.5 KV distribution line
and 14 miles of 1272 transmission line (to include OPGW on both lines)
SOW included supervision and engineering liaison for the line design, caisson construction of steel structures for turning poles and hybrid (concrete direct bury bases with steel tops) tangent poles from the wind generators to the substation and interconnect structures associated with transmitting the wind generated power to the PacifiCorp grid.

Crown Castle Construction Manager: 05-2007 through 09-2007 of SOW: New Raw Land Sites. Responsible for identifying and qualifying site lease candidates, Zoning Drawings, Permit and Construction Drawings, Bid Packages, Material Ordering, Contractor Scheduling and Site Construction QA/QC, Close out packages.
While our team finished first in production for Crown Castle nationwide, outsourcing was their choice as funds became limited to justify full time in-house expense.


Crown Castle (TSA) 09-2007 through 05-2008: Tower Structural Analyst, transferred from New Build to Crown
In-house. Duties to include MLA/SLA review, CAD Structural Design review, Structural review, relegating mod designs, mod design bid packages, review and design sites for new client installs.

ClearWire, Corpus Christi, TX Construction Launch PM/CM, Corpus Christi, TX 01/15/07-04/15/07 35 sites.

Responsibilities: I was the only ClearWire representative in the market. The launch had begun in the fourth quarter of 2006 and was halted for budgetary reasons. I began on January 15th and picked up the pieces required to finish the project. This was to include 25%-30% of the sites that required Site Design, A&E Plans for Zoning and Permitting, hiring and coordination of surveying and engineering firms to plat previously unplatted properties to include all associated engineering for storm water management. My responsibilities involved material take-offs, ordering and verification of warehouse inventory received for each of the sites. I worked closely with the RF backhaul engineers to establish and verify line of site for the backhaul microwave ClearWire uses from each site to their POP. I also completed lease negotiations and design for the rooftop sites with the landlords. Construction scheduling and daily progress reports to the client were also part of the routine.


Cingular Wireless 2006Responsible for the decommissioning of 331 Cingular Sites in the Northern Florida Market to include lease review and construction coordination for the decommissioning effort.


Responsibilities: This project should have kicked off in May of 2006. Little was done when I was hired on October 1st. I was in charge of the decommissioning of 331 of the 1,710 sites in the North Florida Market.
The project included coordination of separate entities responsible for radio gear removal, battery and subsequent hazmat filing for disposal, generator removal, bidding, purchase orders and invoice review for contractors to physically remove the shelters, lines and antennas from the sites.
The decommissioning of all sites required lease review for renewal/termination dates with the landlords, 60% of the sites involved direct interaction with SBA, American Tower, Global Signal and Crown Castle to negotiate Pay and Walk agreements to leave equipment on site in exchange for a negotiated one time payment fee to vacate the site.
