My name is Ross Mount, and I am looking to be employed with a firm that will allow me to use my extensive skills in the supervisory role. I have over twenty years of experience in the home building industry, and have been a Superintendent since 1994. I am a well rounded superintendent in all aspects of home building. I have a keen understanding of slab on grade building, and all trade activity that is a part of the entire building process I am an involved employee and get into the daily tasks at hand. Part of being a successful superintendent is to be available to each and every trade on a daily basis. To walk the job and get involved. To be a vital part of the overall process and to set the pace for each and every subcontractor on site. I have no problem with accountability for myself and that of others, and yet I also believe that is as important to provide the team spirit to those who complete the task at hand, and let them know that their efforts were A job well done! I am experienced not only with the direct building but also with the off-site responsibilities as well. Wet and dry utilities, as well as street grading and paving. I am not afraid of any task. I am knowledgeable in building practices and I have a strong personality and understand how to get the subcontractor base not only to get the job done, but to give them a sense of being part of the team. I have a strong sense of urgency with all I do and have the ability to bring this to the table each and everyday. I understand the importance of building schedules, building within the budget set forth, and also to build within the contracts and scopes of work for each vendor. It is also the job of the superintendent to provide the highest quality available in each dwelling and to provide the quality control that is needed to achieve this daily. To coach and to train subcontractors, Assistant Superintendents, and the entire workforce is also the responsibility of the project superintendent. I am comfortable and confident with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs. I feel I would greatly enhance your company and be able to adequately fill the position of superintendent. If you have any questions or comments regarding my resume or experience, please feel free to contact me anytime. I would love to speak with you in regards to this position, and how I feel I can help you meet your goals. If you are in need of a reference list or a project list, please let me know and I would be happy to provide you with any additional information that you might need. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
