2004-2009 Pride International Rig Electrician on the Pride, Texas, contracted to Pemex in Campeche, Mexico. Mat Cantilever Jack-Up Rig. Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and repair of Tech Power SCR systems, Top Drive System, Mud Pumps, Caterpillar 3512B engines driving 600 Volt generators. Maintenance and repair of air conditioning, traction motors, switchgear, jack-up systems, and all parts of the three phase electrical system. Maximo asset maintenance system.
1999-2004 H&P Drilling Rig Electrician for H&P 107, 205 on both Cognac and on Ram Powell for Shell, 203 for Shell. Applied Rams (Rig Asset Management System) on all rigs and equipment. Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of 600v Baylor and Ross Hill SCR systems, Varco top drive, PLC systems, Caterpillar Generators, switchgear, air conditioning systems and refrigeration equipment, and DC traction motors. Also worked at McDermott Shipyard, Morgan City installing electrical equipment, controls and instrumentation on offshore production platform under contract with MMR/ Radon. 1983- 1986 Triad Electric. Electrical and instrument construction, repair and maintenance in various petrochemical plants and refineries in Mississippi River Industrial Corridor. Of major interest, performed as lead man on motor operated valve projects installation connecting valve operators to Honeywell TDC 3000, Process Control Loop in Texaco Refinery, at Convent, La. Other projects, preventative maintenance on high voltage switchgear, acted as foreman on rebuilding crew after major fire on catcracker, also at Texaco, Convent. Routine electrical maintenance and construction projects for EXXon Refinery and EXXon Chemical.
