Coordinated testing agencies, specialty consultants, signage packages, and FF&E purchasing firms.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, Orlando, Florida 1997-2000

Senior Construction Manager: Directed all aspects of field construction on extremely challenging site for CityWalk project. Managed 4-person staff, developed project schedule, provided field direction to shell contractor and 7 tenant finish contractors, and liaised with all contractors throughout site. Ensured architect responded to RFIs, approved submittals, and issued directives in timely manner. Held daily site construction meetings with all affiliated contractors and subcontractors to effectively coordinate all work material deliveries, laydown areas, and hardscape construction.
Completed $200M troubled CityWalk project 7 days ahead of original schedule following termination of shell contractor who had requested 3 extra months and $35M more to complete project.

HUBBARD CONSTRUCTION, Fairview Heights, Illinois 1996-1997

Senior Project Manager: Tasked with providing construction management services to client with troubled floating casino project. Successfully negotiated general contractors GMP to lump sum agreement, streamlined project schedule, and developed bidding strategies for remainder of project.
Reduced GMP $6M by providing entire project estimate and negotiating land-based budget.
Completed $120M project 6 weeks ahead of schedule.
