Milling Away
February 2009 - Present
At Milling Away, I was given the responsibilities of a Project Manager. I made regular visits to the job sites, assigned task lists for the trades, and kept track of the inventory. I also researched new companies for the library, and communicated with the sales representatives.
Deitrick & Associates Interiors, Inc.
September 2007 - February 2009
Internship
At this design firm, I practiced my internship, which eventually led to being hired as an Interior Designer. I worked within a team to complete projects and contributed by drawing 3D and 2D AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop renderings and page layouts, picking out materials and finishes, as well as organizing the Commercial library.
The Home Depot
April - August 2007
At Home Depot, I worked in the flooring and window treatments departments, with training in the paint department. I learned about the different application options, and how to match a product with the customer's specific needs.
Family Video Movie Club
August 2005 - August 2007
From this job I have learned customer service, interpersonal communication skills, inventory control, balancing liabilities and assets, and time management. I was promoted to be a shift leader, and acted as the manager on duty while the manager was out of the store.
