My Duties: Getting instructions from superintendent where the bench mark is to get my elevation so that I can get grade to put up battle boards to make sure that my plumbing and electrical was four feet below ground level. Assisting concrete finishers on setting forms to make sure they were on grade. Receiving and giving instructions to brick masons for the bricks and blocks. Take down measurements for framing. Also instructed to check for boy joyce to make sure distance was correct for opening on roof. Write down layout for freezer and electrical panel. Get grade on foundation and set grade on parking lot. Check erosion control daily.

My Duties: Contact power companies, city inspectors, demo and grading company to prepare for demolition. Coordinate meeting with everyone before removal of old building so new construction could begin on time. Obtained copy of codes from city inspectors, and obtained license from company doing demolition. Plumber an electrician had to get building permit to begin process. I then had to shot grade, do layout, keep a total of budget, understand codes, and keep build on schedule until completion. Stay and in guide lines and compliance with the EPA.
