Vice President, Development Manager
Serve as Vice President, Development Manager for a $150M (Phase I) resort development project located within SilverRock Resort, La Quinta CA.; with management responsibilities for remaining phased development totaling more than $500M.
Responsible for management and execution of the Project business plan, and all aspects of the project development including; land entitlements, design, contracts, real estate marketing & sales, construction, management of design and hotel consultants, on-site personnel, risk management, accounting and legal.
Led an 18 month negotiation effort with City of La Quinta Redevelopment Agency resulting in a multi-year, phased Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) for our firm covering all remaining resort development parcels at SilverRock; developable parcels comprise over 1,000 resort keys and 160,000 sf of resort retail with a total development value of over $500M.
Authored and presented investment recommendation document approved by Lowe Investment Committee; which ultimately resulted in securing of Phase I project equity commitment of $35M through pension fund sources.
Established on-site real estate preview center generating more than 1,400 registered leads; responsible for ensuring that project vision and quality are maintained in all marketing and communication materials.
Responsible for generating all monthly/quarterly management and investor reports, and ensuring compliance with all existing project agreements including; DDA, Specific Plan, Development Management and Sales Agreement.
