To complete projects safely with the utmost quality while maintaining schedule and budget and maintaining good client relations.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Demonstrated a history of completing multimillion dollar projects ahead of schedule and under budget. With over 30 years of construction and engineering experience I have acquired the ability to foresee problem areas and provide corrective solutions prior to effecting schedule and recommended changes to conserve project resources. Performed value engineering of design prior to construction to examine design and specifications to determine more economical changes could be made without sacrificing design intent and MEP coordination prior to and during construction to identify and eliminate interferences with architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC and piping to minimize change orders. Project required close coordination with owner to prevent downtime with owner's production. Project required radical changes with the piping contractor to maintain schedule. Project was completed on schedule and within budget.

Project: CO2 High Pressure Compressor Station Welch TX $128 mil,
Performed value engineering during the design stages for design changes to reduce costs of construction. Provided oversight of the site preparation work and all aspects of construction through completion to start up and commissioning. Insured contractors were complying with safety, security, quality, schedule, and budget. Generated evacuation and safety procedures for contractors and residents of the area should there be a release of H2S gas. Project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule and $ 2mm under budget.

1992 - 1993 HVAC Manager Ebasco Constructors Inc.
Projects: Watts Bar Nuclear Plant TVA
Managed the HVAC engineering group of 35 engineers. Group performed walk downs and inspections of previously installed air handling units, duct work, determining whether the HVAC units were properly anchored and the duct work had adequate supports and had not deteriorated from corrosion and complied with the latest edition of SMACNA and ASHRA. Redesigned those deficient areas and generated work packages to construction.

1990 - 1992 Construction Manager Ansaldo Industria Spa.
Projects: 2-80 mw Co-Generation Plants at different locations in NY
Managed, multiple contractors and monitored their personnel for safety and quality for all aspects of construction from acquiring permits, to site development through start up and commissioning. Reviewed contractors documentation for accuracy and compliance to the quality program. Approved contractors progress payments and reviewed and approved change orders. Supervised the home office engineers and other staff members. Held weekly meetings with lenders, owners, and contractors. These projects were completed 3 months ahead of schedule and $4mm under budget.

1989 1989, Task Force Manager VECO Inc.
Project: Alaskan Oil Spill I was the 4th person from the lower 48 that EXXON requested to assist in the cleanup activities. Supervised and directed over 600 oil spill cleanup workers on board U.S Navy LPD ships, interfaced with U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Alaska DNR and Wildlife, U.S. EPA, Alaska EPA and support personnel. Instrumental in developing methodology for oil removal from cliff faces by using packaged hot water boilers on board sea going barges. Assisted international scientists in testing different remedial methods for clean up

1987 - 1987 Project Superintendent Johnson Controls Construction Div.
Projects: Consolidated Edison #3 Nuclear Plant
Reorganized this project to reestablish client relations and complete the project after setting idle for 2 months. Project was completed the on time.

1984 - 1987 Construction Manager Ebasco Constructors Inc.
Project: South Texas Nuclear Plant and Strategic Oil Petroleum Reserve Facility
Provided supervision to and direction to the piping engineering department for work package development and construction superintendents. Instrumental in diverting labor problems with the union pipefitters due to a dispute with the electricians.

Project: Hope Creek Nuclear Plant
Over saw the contractors testing program to insure tests complied with applicable codes, design and specifications. Documented results and maintained testing records.

Project: Waterford 3 Nuclear Plant
Provided supervision and direction to 30 multi disciplined engineers for walk downs to determine incomplete construction items by system. Provided scoped P&IDS by system for testing and flushing. Reviewed all documentation including the testing program to insure all documentation was completed prior to turn over to the owner. Held meetings with owner and his start up group including construction personnel to continue startup where construction was incomplete.

1979 - 1980 I & C Engineer Daniel International Corp.
Project: Callaway Nuclear Plant
Monitored the installations of instrument mounting, tubing runs, and electrical and control wiring of instruments to insure compliance to design. Instituted non-conformance reports and forwarded to construction for rework. Resolved requests for information where there were interferences which prevented the installations per design.

Project: 1300 mw Coal Fired Power Plant
Provided supervision to 350 union crafts persons in the trades of: boilermakers, pipefitters, instrument fitters, and supporting trades. Project was completed within budget and on schedule even with a strike that delayed the project for 3 weeks.
