EXPERIENCE: Plants & Plans, Inc.( 1994 to Present ) Served as President since inception of corporation. Initially was created as a design/build firm specializing in the design and installation of high end residential landscape and hardscape projects. Secondarily, Plants and Plans, Inc. also provided design services to other local landscape contractors.
In 1996, Plants and Plans abandoned its in house construction practices in lieu of running the landscape division of a long term client Bountiful Acres. Serving as both in house employee and subcontractor, Stuart Crell and Plants and Plans, Inc. designed, estimated, sold, installed projects as well as hired and trained staff, scheduled, coordinated and supervised the construction of all landscape projects. Operations were expanded from a two crew operation into four. Designed and supervised the construction of three successful award winning Philadelphia Flower Show Exhibits as well.
In 1992, Plants and Plans, Inc. relocated to Lawrenceville, NJ where we continue to design for local landscape contractors. In addition to design services, we also assist in marketing, graphic design, sales, and on site supervision and layout.

Heyser Landscaping Inc ( Norrition, PA. )( 1987 to 1991 ) Designed, estimated, sold, and provided on site supervision of both residential and commercial design/build landscape and hardscape projects. Designed and supervised construction of public exhibits geared toward business development. Actively bid on commercial projects in the capacity of staff estimator.
Gooseberry Bush Nursery ( Downingtown, PA )( 1985 to 1987 ) Designed, estimated, sold and provided on-site supervision of residential design/build landscape and hardscape projects. As staff designer/salesman, I reviewed plans at nursery location where an extensive nursery inventory could be viewed. Designed and supervised construction of two successful award winning Philadelphia Flower Show exhibits.
McCloskey & Faber , PC ( Horsham, PA )( 1984 to 1985 ) Served as staff Landscape Architect primarily responsible for preparing subdivision, site improvement, and landscape plans primarily for commercial projects. Researched zoning issues as needed regarding subdivision and landscape plan requirements.
