Ambergris Cay Partnership, Turks and Caicos Sporting Club Turks and Caicos Islands, BWI SENIOR VERTICAL PROJECT MANAGER September 2004 to Present
Accountable for all aspects of the Vertical Construction Program from the commencement of development on a private 1100 acre island in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Projects include all island operations buildings, custom homes and club amenity buildings.

o15 custom homes oOver 45,000 sq ft of operations buildings, this serves as the central base of all island infrastructure services. This included the Water, Power and Waste Water Treatment buildings, a high heat Incinerator and the Communications building with a 120 cell tower, included in the scope of work was the outfitting of all the internal equipment. oClub Administration Building and Island Medical Clinic. oIsland Welcome Center including retail and meeting spaces. oEmergency Management building for longest private runway in the Caribbean at 5700 feet. oPermanent dormitory housing for over 300 Club and Development staff. oEnvironmental Learning Center. oLuxury Five star restaurant including Caribbean style Tiki bar and infinity edge pool. Daily responsibilities:
oManaged on site General Contractor with an international work force of over 200 men in the field. oCoordinated all facets of simultaneous projects from the initial execution and through out the length of the projects managed on a daily basis the adherence of the quality levels. oResponsible for building turn over to either homeowner or Sporting Club management and prepared and delivered a comprehensive close out package. oEstablished island wide means and methods and expected quality levels including the creation of a quality control inspection program. oParticipated with design team on plan coordination from Design Development sets through the issuing of the For Construction plans to ensure that all designs stayed within established guidelines and standards. oLiaison between Contractor and Design Professionals. Responsible for answering and approving all Requests for Information and Requests for Approvals. oGenerated project schedules and approved monthly updates along with all pay requisitions. oCoordinated all new project start dates and facilitated any overlaps with on-going projects. oOrganized purchase of initial program equipment, including establishment of budget and sourcing of vendors. oNegotiated national and international suppliers for project-wide pricing and product specifications. oFormed and managed the development on-site team including the management of the island concrete batch plant and its staff and operations. oProduced regular project updates for homeowners and/or club management.
