QUALIFICATIONS FACILITIES/OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
1) Extensive hands-on experience as Facilities/Operations Director for major commercial properties, to include the following direct responsibilities: Consistent direct verbal and written communication with all levels of management and staff Day-to-day and emergency operations (interior, exterior, parking lots/decks, and grounds), coordinating with security staff as required Systems to include: Utilities, HVAC, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Sprinklers, Energy Management, etc Major construction, renovations, and tenant build outs Tenant, contractor, and vendor relations All operational phases of major events and special projects Staff management (maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, etc) Operational reports and property reviews Capital expenditures Budget formulation and management Emergency Response Team (Southeastern U.S.)
2) Plan, schedule, and oversee Federal projects throughout the Southeast to meet ADA requirements. Work closely with Federal contractor(s) regarding all project phases (including budgeting, bidding, pre- and post-construction walkthroughs and meetings) in order to successively produce high quality work within budget and with minimal punch list items. Manage job supervisors and work crews in concrete, paving and striping, public and employee handicap access issues, interior remodeling, etc. Maintain open communication with all staff levels within the organization(s).
