OBJECTIVE:
Seeking a long-term position as a Project Superintendent in Commercial Construction with a stable and growing general contractor, who is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated team member who can contribute to the success of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands-on successful senior professional at building and managing skilled labor teams, directing multi-million dollar commercial projects from conception through completion. Develop and implement strategic planning, best practices, formulate schedules and timelines, manage supply chain resources, safety & compliance, operations, budgeting, purchasing, vendor management, and ensure vendors and subcontractors achieve desired expectations.
Commercial project experience includes: Ground Up: Hotels, Restaurants, Retail Strip Centers, Grocery Stores, Large and Small Retail Stores, Office Buildings, and Big Box. Tenant Improvements on: Shopping Malls, Hospitals, Medical Facilities, Fine Dining Restaurants, Fast Food Restaurants, Department Stores, Retail Strip Centers, Big Box and Schools.
EXPERIENCE OFFERED:
Fully versed and experienced in planning and managing a wide range of construction requirements, including: layout and site preparation, scheduling, field coordination, control, job site safety, and supervision of all subcontracted workforces and trades. Prepare and monitor the project schedule, implement change orders, manage reports to accurately track project status, and chair project status meetings with PM, owner-reps, subcontractors, engineers and architects on a regular basis. Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Client service oriented with the ability to solve problems and make decisions. Up to date knowledge and application of safety standards and procedures for OSHA requirements. Highly motivated, self-starter who has a do whatever it takes attitude to get things done correctly.
Supervise up to 100 personnel on job site at any given time, with strong leadership skills to achieve timeline results.
Ability to complete projects on time and on budget.
