Reporting directly to the Project Director, Championed the Value Engineering program for the FEED design of a 3.0 Billion Dollar Gasification project for Eastman Chemical. The program saved the project $265 million, and allowed the project to go forward to detail engineering.
Developed a new Material Quantity Tracking and Reporting procedure for a 2.1 Billion Dollar Oil Sand Refinery Project. The prototype procedure is slated to be used for all of Fluors future projects managed from their Southern California offices.
