Led and managed all company strategic, operational, purchasing, logistics and sales functions of the Arizona branch for Earthcore Industries, the manufacturer of Isokern fireplaces and distributor of Lennox fireplaces and other hearth products. I had P & L responsibility for all facets of the branch, including sales, operations, inventory, warehouse, installation personnel and sub-contractors. The branch was number one out of 12 last year in sales revenue at $5 mil. I developed existing distributors and setup new ones to increase sales, facilitated training and support to them to identify new opportunities. I had responsibility for estimating all costs, creating and managing budgets, bid management and awarding of contracts. I implemented an electronic, web based bid process and purchase order system, saving the operation over $100k / year in paper plans. I established the use of cost codes for tracking and estimating. I created a start order system and change order process. I established Random Lengths adjustments for tracking and adjusting lumber pricing. Through better processes, procedures and negotiating I saved over 10% off initial house budgets, equating to $250k in cost savings.

I had responsibility for managing all of the onsite purchasing and supply chain logistics for approximately 1,200 single-family, active adult and luxury homes in 8 to 10 communities per year throughout Maricopa County.
