Over see the installation crews. Coordinate with other contractors and the customer. Try to coordinate with the customer/ company as to layout, elevations of racking, shipping and schedules.
This company has large problems with drawings and material. It is difficult, to say the least, to install racking systems when the material is manufactured incorrectly or with inaccurate drawings.

I had to learn how to manage crews, sub-contractors, work with other trades to get the job done.
I left this company because of promises not kept.

This job includes some sub-contracting on some new motel construction, installing cabinets, doors, grab bars and trim. I built pole barns, engineered steel buildings, concrete work, fencing and commercial roofing. (Hot, modified, epdm)

Ray was a concrete contractor for 30 years, doing mostly house/building slabs, flat work some walls, cellars and swimming pools and vaults. When work was slow Ray would rent myself and other workers to other contractors framing, roofing, drywall, insulation or other trades. When he retired he bought old houses to remodel for rental property. Working for ray, I gutted, and completely rebuilt homes. This lasted until he had over 20 homes rented out that were like new homes.
This was a cash paying job.
