Send plans to reprographics vendor for duplication, perform takeoffs, download data into estimating software, prepare estimate per scope, and remain in contact with the potential customer, adjusting estimate due to any addendums, or deviation from the bid plans. Also performed value-engineering, add alternate options where required, and prepared a project folder to be handed over to the project manager at the project transition meeting. Projects Won: Navesink Country Club $755,000, Pilot Travel Centers $219,000, and United Teletech Federal Credit Union $22,000.

Electrical Estimator/Project Manager - Oct. 2003- Oct. 2008 Responsible for responding to bid invitations, drafting a bid schedule for upcoming bids, and keeping a bid log of all projects bidded on. Perform takeoff, download data, prepare estimate, and submit bid with any necessary paperwork, including any change orders, alternates or communications. Prepared a progression of work schedule , and submitted material and equipment specs to the general contractors. Performed a site visit, and met with the project engineer, fire alarm and security vendors to discuss any changes. Ordered material, and responsible for accurate "as-built" drawings. Worked in the UPS battery room, installing hundreds of batteries.
