March 2008 February 2009 As an estimator, I was responsible for leading and managing the Estimating/Pre-Construction functions of Commercial and Residential projects. Tasks included planning, coordinating and/or preparing full conceptual, and final estimates; sales and client relationship management, pre-construction scheduling, and effective turnover of projects to operations. Plans Manager, Levitt Corp., Orlando, FL. July 2006 October 2007 As a Plans Manager, I was responsible for Levitts catalog of construction drawings for all communities. These projects entailed commercial build-outs for town centers, clubhouses, pool cabanas, custom single family residences, & town homes. Some commercial projects were in excess of 50,000 sq. ft.. Responsible for all changes to plans, implementing new plans for different communities and enhancing current inventory so that it can be more marketable. Design, develop, and implement change and efficiencies through organized processes and standards. Responsible for preparing budgets, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, estimating, take-offs etc., for all new projects. Establish a control mechanism for tracking and monitoring project performance. Setting up regular meetings with architects, engineers, and directors. Able to interpret applicable building codes & ordinances and prepare schematic designs, and construction documents. Maintain responsibility for control of design development process, quality control, and maintain as built drawings. Coordinate the preparation and review of all bid documents, estimating, reviewing and processing variance purchase orders. Become fully knowledgeable of all contract specifications and drawing requirements for the assigned disciplines.
