SCHADSONS CORPORATION-Roswell, GA (8/00 to 6/03) TITLE: Project Manager
Project Manager for Mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) subcontractor on a new 328,000 sf Environmental Science & Technology Building at Georgia Tech and a new addition & renovation project at the VA Medical Center in Ashville, NC. I had full responsibility for these $12.5 MM and $5.3MM subcontracts. Both projects were completed and I was laid off due to lack of work.
TRITON MARINE CONSTRUCTION CORP.-Bremerton, WA (5/99 to 6/00) TITLE: Project Manager
Triton is an international general contractor performing government projects. I was employed as an on-site manager for a $11MM design/build Gas Turbine Engine Test Facility at Hill AFB, UT. As an explosion resistant structure, the building utilized precast walls and a pressure release roof. I was directly responsible for scheduling, budgeting, change order negotiations, and supervision of all subcontractors including the A/E design team. Project was completed and I resigned to return to the Southeast.

William R. Nash, Inc was established in 1965 as a plumbing contractor and I was recruited in 1989 to start up, qualify and manage a new mechanical division. In 1996, my duties were revised to include marketing/business development in an effort to move from the hard bid market and into the more profitable negotiated market. Nash operated in the Southeast U.S. and throughout the Caribbean. While specializing in healthcare, Nash was also involved in the construction of prisons, resorts/hotels, sports facilities, and other large scale commercial projects. During my tenure, I was instrumental in increasing annual company revenues from $7MM to in excess of $35MM and was responsible for overall corporate profitability as Vice President and a member of the executive Committee.

Employed originally as a mechanical estimator and project manager. I was promoted in my second year to Sr. Project Manager and to Division Manager/Vice President in my third. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Electric, Harrison performed mechanical & electrical projects on an international basis with emphasis on the power and industrial markets. Principal duties included management of estimating and project personnel, acting as the mechanical qualifier on a national basis, participation on the corporate planning & management committees and marketing.

I was hire as an estimator/project manager while being required to work in the field one day per week during my first year. Completed projects include a Holiday Inn, Cancer Center for SE Regional Hospital, Instrument Trainer Facility, and Corrosion Control Facility.
