Through more efficient bidding and contracting, the field purchase order dollars were reduced by $650,000 (76%) Exceptional bidding and cost control all project budgets were equal to or less than original proposed budgets. Helped in preparing Land Development Due diligence budgets that were accurate and on time for the purchasing / selling of land. Participated with management in many negotiations where in excess of $1M was saved by reducing sellers price because of aggressive accurate budget numbers from subcontractors prior to negotiations. In three years saved the company $3M+ through value engineering and strategic negotiations. Successfully negotiated cost savings from Trade partners on the average of 5% during declined economy. Built up trade Partner base by 100% with honest, high quality, and cost conscience companies with 100% retention. Developed a trust with all the trade partners where my word was golden always performed what I said I would. Revised all existing Scopes of Work in conjunction with Trade Partner buy-in.
